Carrie Wachob
Carrie Wachob is a screenwriter, filmmaker, and medical videographer for Seattle Children's Hospital. She recently optioned an offbeat romcom to Happy Accidents (Holly Hines, Eric Jarboe), and is developing a dark comedy pilot with High School Musical producer Bill Borden. An alum of the Stowe Story labs, she has a journalism degree from the University of Washington and a passion for storytelling across different media platforms. She aims to create offbeat stories that break your heart.
Carrie founded Biting Owl Productions in 2019 in order to shoot "Crazy Cat Lady," a short disaster film that she wrote and co-directed. The film had a short-but-fun festival run during the pandemic. She just started a festival run with her second film and first documentary, "The Collector." In her spare time she enjoys watching UFO documentaries with her dog Baby Billy.
